Welcome to Hereford Rowing Club
From its formation in 1861, the aim of Hereford Rowing Club has been to promote rowing in the city and surrounding area, developing over the years into one of the foremost rowing centres within the UK.

This weekend three crews competed at Shrewsbury Regatta. Saturdays racing was held over a 1000m downstream stretch of the the River Severn as it meanders through the town.
The first victory of the day came from Charlie Stewart and Kate Tatchell in there Junior 18 double scull who beat off a crew from Runcorn with a verdict of easily in their semi final. The girls then won their final against Monmouth, again with a verdict of easily.
The coxed four of Rod Phillips, Keith Lawrence, Richard Bissell and Phil Hart coxed by Charlie Stewart continued their undefeated run by winning the veteran C event. They beat off crews from Ramsey Rowing Club, Northampton Rowing Club and Stourport Boat club in the final.
The Senior Two Coxless Pair event saw Mike Gardener and Nige Birch get through two rounds of racing only to be narrowly beaten in the final.
