Hereford Rowing Club Fun Regatta & Community Games 2012
We invite the people of Hereford to come together with us to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games with a day of fun and games at Hereford rowing club on the beautiful River Wye in the centre of historic Hereford.
SUNDAY 15TH APRIL 2012
There will be fun sporting activities and refeshments for all the family.
If you’ve never rowed before then why not enter the main attraction of the event – The Fun Regatta.
Our members will give you a few hours coaching in the preceding weeks to prepare you to race in coxed crews of four at the regatta. Fancy dress obligatory!

Those who prefer to stay on dry land can enjoy the show on the water and have a go at the land based activities:
– Can you beat Hereford’s own GB rower Jamie’s times on the indoor rower ?
– Can you give the Wye Valley Runners some stiff competition in the sack races, or egg and spoon or 3 legged race
